About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how UniTib handles information when you visit www.unitib.com, communicate with us, use a contact form, post a comment where comments are enabled, or interact with services used to operate, secure, measure and support the website.
UniTib publishes educational material concerning Unani medicine, Ayurveda, medicinal plants, nutrition and natural health. The website is hosted on Google’s Blogger platform and may display advertising through Google AdSense. Some processing is therefore carried out by Google and its partners under their own privacy terms and technologies.
Information you provide voluntarily
We may receive personal information when you choose to contact us. Depending on how you communicate, this can include:
- your name and email address;
- the subject and contents of your message;
- links, documents or screenshots you voluntarily attach;
- information included in a comment, feedback report, correction request or collaboration proposal; and
- any follow-up correspondence needed to answer your inquiry.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, complete medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information. UniTib does not use its contact channel to provide emergency care, individual diagnosis or prescriptions.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, Blogger, Google and other service providers used by the site may automatically receive technical information. Depending on your device, settings, location and consent choices, this can include:
- Internet Protocol address and approximate location derived from it;
- browser type, device type, operating system and language settings;
- pages visited, referring page, links used and date or time of access;
- cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers and consent choices;
- diagnostic, fraud-prevention, security and performance information; and
- aggregated website-use and advertising measurements.
Technical identifiers and online activity may be treated as personal data under some laws even when UniTib cannot directly identify a visitor by name.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files or stored identifiers that help websites and service providers remember information about a browser or device. Similar technologies can include pixels, tags, local storage and web beacons.
Essential and functional technologies
Blogger and related services may use technologies needed to deliver pages, remember settings, prevent abuse, maintain security and provide website functions. Blocking these technologies may cause some features to operate incorrectly.
Analytics
Where analytics is enabled, Google Analytics or comparable measurement tools may collect information about visits and interactions. We use aggregated reports to understand page performance, improve navigation, identify technical problems and plan educational content. Analytics availability and storage can depend on consent settings and regional requirements.
Advertising and Google AdSense
UniTib may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to UniTib or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized advertising where permitted and consented to, or non-personalized advertising where appropriate.
As a result of ad serving, third parties may place or read cookies in your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to collect information. Even non-personalized ads may use cookies for functions such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, fraud prevention and security.
If third-party ad vendors or ad networks other than Google are enabled, their technologies and privacy policies may also apply. The vendors actually involved can vary according to location, ad availability and publisher settings.
Consent choices and advertising controls
Where applicable, a consent message or consent-management platform may be presented so that visitors can make choices about eligible cookies, local storage and the use of personal data for advertising. You can also:
- manage Google advertising personalization through My Ad Center;
- review how Google uses information for advertising;
- control or delete cookies using your browser settings; and
- use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where it is compatible with your browser.
Your browser or device controls may not govern every technology, and disabling cookies can affect website functionality. If a consent control is shown on UniTib, that control should be used for the choices it covers.
How information is used
Information may be used to:
- operate, display, secure and maintain UniTib;
- respond to messages, feedback, correction requests and professional inquiries;
- investigate broken links, accessibility problems or technical errors;
- measure readership and improve the usefulness and organization of content;
- display, limit, measure and protect advertising;
- detect spam, fraud, malicious activity and misuse;
- establish, exercise or defend legal rights; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
How information may be shared
UniTib does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed or disclosed in the following limited circumstances:
- Platform and service providers: Google/Blogger, hosting, analytics, advertising, security and communications providers may process information needed to supply their services.
- Professional assistance: information may be shared with advisers or service providers when reasonably necessary to maintain the site or address a legal matter, subject to appropriate duties.
- Legal and safety reasons: information may be disclosed when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security or the integrity of the website.
- Business transition: if ownership or operation of UniTib changes, relevant records may be transferred subject to applicable law and this policy or an updated notice.
Data retention
Correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to answer an inquiry, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can vary according to the nature of the message. Technical, advertising and analytics data processed by Google or another provider is retained according to that provider’s settings and policies.
International processing
UniTib is available internationally. Google and other providers may process information on servers located outside your country. Data-protection rules can differ between jurisdictions. Where required, providers use legal mechanisms intended to support international transfers.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or receive information about applicable disclosure and advertising choices. These rights can be subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
To make a request concerning information held directly by UniTib, email 100yearslive@gmail.com with the subject Privacy Request. We may ask for limited information needed to identify the relevant correspondence and protect it from unauthorized access. Requests concerning data controlled by Google should be directed through Google’s privacy tools or support channels.
Children’s privacy
UniTib is a general-audience educational website and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from a child below the minimum age applicable in the child’s location. A parent or guardian who believes that a child has submitted personal information can contact us to request review and deletion where appropriate.
External links
Articles may link to publishers, libraries, research resources, official catalogues, video platforms or other websites. Those websites operate under their own privacy notices and practices. UniTib is not responsible for a third party’s data handling merely because a link appears on this site.
Data security
We take reasonable organizational steps to limit unauthorized access to messages and administrative accounts. No method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised. Visitors should avoid sending information that is unnecessary for their inquiry.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised when website features, service providers, advertising practices or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a material revision is published. We encourage visitors to review this page periodically.
